ABOUT ME
I hand throw porcelain and stoneware in a number of useful forms such as vases, bowls, beakers and serving dishes. Often I use coloured slips to inlay the work before high firing in an electric kiln.
I first became interested in making ceramics in 2009 as part of an MA course in Contemporary Design and Decorative Arts at Sotheby's Institute in London. I was writing my dissertation on Rupert Spira and thought it would be a good idea to take a few throwing lessons. Soon I knew that this was what I wanted to do next in life!
After a number of years sharing studio spaces in London, I now work out of a studio at my home in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
